Justin Baker, Technical Director of Intellect Projects Group, supplied Castle Hill RSL with an MA Lighting International dot2 core console saying the venue used to have an aging Hog 1000, talk about chalk and cheese!
“The venue didn’t need anything as big as a grandMA console and the dot2 core has the flexibility to grow if we need it to in the future,” said Justin. “The venue uses quite a few different operators so we needed a console that was simple to grasp and easy to use.”
Justin reports that the venue operators find the dot2 core to be graphically easier to use making design and programming a breeze. Basically, the dot2 core just works and is logical to new users.
The dot2 core is perfect for all the places an MA2 is over kill because setup time, space or operator experience is limited.
