Show Technology is proud to announce the delivery of Australia’s first Ayrton Mamba fixtures to leading event production company Showscreens. These cutting-edge luminaires wasted no time in making their debut, going straight into action in front of a 57,000-strong crowd at Perth’s Optus Stadium during the Australian Socceroos’ thrilling qualification match for the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

The Ayrton Mamba is a revolutionary new beam and effects luminaire featuring an ultra-intensive, 500W white LED engine. Designed for maximum visual impact, it delivers an impressive output of 220,000 lux at 10 metres. With a 3.6° beam angle, a 170mm front lens, and a comprehensive effects system including continuous pan and tilt, dual animation wheels, and 19 rotating gobos, the Mamba offers designers boundless creative potential. The fixture’s IP65 rating ensures optimal performance in even the most challenging environments.
After dazzling at Optus Stadium, the Mamba fixtures immediately transitioned into another high-profile event—Lightscape Perth 2025—where they are currently shining bright within the magically illuminated wonderland of Kings Park & Botanic Garden. “Designer of Lightscape Perth, Mike MacDonald, was chasing a powerful bright beam, destined to shoot far from Kings Park to the South Perth foreshore” said Kale Tatam, Production Manager at Showscreens. “The Mamba was the perfect choice for this application, with the beams of light being seen as far as 20km away while having the piece of mind they can sit outside until the end of July during rain, hail or shine.”
