Show Technology is a leading distributor of professional entertainment lighting technology across Australia and New Zealand. For more than 30 years we have supported theatres, venues, production companies, film and television productions and live events with some of the world’s most respected lighting brands.
We’re looking for someone with strong industry experience to join our Auckland team in a Technical Sales role.
This position is ideal for someone who has built their career working with professional lighting systems — such as a lighting technician, production manager or venue technical staff member — and is looking to apply that experience in a customer-facing commercial role.
The Role
You’ll be working closely with lighting professionals across New Zealand supporting projects and helping customers deliver great lighting solutions.
Responsibilities Include
- Developing relationships with venues, consultants, production companies and integrators
- Supporting project-based lighting system sales
- Preparing quotes and responding to project requests and tenders
- Demonstrating new lighting technology and solutions
- Providing technical support to customers and the wider team
- Maintaining CRM records and managing sales opportunities
- Representing Show Technology at demonstrations, events and industry activities
- Occasional travel within New Zealand, with periodic trips to Australia for training and industry events
