Oceania Lighting has grown its’ Martin Professional MAC Quantum Profile stock up to forty-four units, with some located in their Wellington Branch as well as Auckland.

“We find them to be an excellent work horse unit,” commented Simon Garrett, General Manager of Lighting at Oceania. “We’ve had our initial Quantum Profiles for eighteen months and we’ve had virtually no output degradation, you can’t see any difference between the old units and the new ones. They run with no heat and no noise, they’re small, they’re bright, they’re fast and run on nothing … I just think they’re a great light.”

Simon further remarked that the MAC Quantum Profile’s gobos are good and that although they may not do everything, everything they do they do very well.

“That’s what you need here in New Zealand and you need numbers which is why we purchased some more,” he added. “We also purchased some more MAC Auras to get our stock up to thirty. They may be an older unit but they’re still appearing on lots of theatre riders and are still the go-to LED wash.”

Oceania deployed their MAC Quantum Profiles on the two field stages at the Auckland City Limits festival. The photo shows Grace Jones performing with MAC Quantum Profiles on deck.
