EagleStrike was born from a bespoke request for a signature luminaire. It stands as the first LED-source followspot in Ayrton’s range, engineered for intensive outdoor use across long distances where precision is paramount. An optional camera enables EagleStrike to function as a remotely operated tracking spotlight. To create this uncompromising and unmatched extreme-luminaire, Ayrton developed an oversized 270 mm front lens weighing 7.7 kg, delivering an ultra-intense 2.9° beam. Its proprietary 13-lens optical system offers a 15:1 zoom ratio and a working range of 2.9° to 43°, with the ability to narrow the beam to 0.9° or 2.5° using dedicated gobo reducers. Equipped with a brand-new high-efficiency 1,200-watt LED module, EagleStrike outputs a luminous flux of 55,000 lm at a colour temperature of 6500 K, and achieves a record-breaking illuminance of over 100,000 lux at 10 metres. The fixture introduces an entirely new ultra-fast CMY flag-based colour mixing system, capable of matching the speed of Ayrton’s ‘ultimate’ series luminaires. A progressive CTO offers subtle tuning from 2900 K to 6500 K. The colour section includes six complementary colour filters, two CRI enhancement filters, one minus green, one gobo correction and one multi-colour filters. EagleStrike features a full-framing system with precise blade positioning across 100 % of the field, and +/- 90° rotation, allowing users to frame any object regardless of the luminaire’s orientation. The effects section combines two overlaying rotating gobo wheels, each equipped with seven gobos, a 15-blade iris diaphragm, and a single-colour effects wheel. Designed with a range of optical tools for sculpting the light, EagleStrike includes two Frost filters—one with light diffusion that softens edges without altering the beam angle, and a high-diffusion variant for wash applications—as well as two combinable rotating image-multiplier prisms: a 4-facet linear and a 5-facet circular. Its minimalist design integrates all waterproofing features while maintaining full access to internal components. A next-generation oversized cooling system ensures high efficiency, featuring three submersible fans located outside the sealed housing. The Ayrton Perseo-S is the first compact multi-function luminaire with an IP65 enclosure rating developed by Ayrton for intensive outdoor use. Equipped with a new 500 W ultra-compact monochromatic LED source calibrated at 8000 K, it can deliver metallic white light with an output of 27,000 lumens. Ayrton has specifically developed the optics in Perseo-S to achieve an optimal resolution-to-performance-to-efficiency ratio. They allow perfect image reproduction and a significant improvement from distortion caused by the shutter blades with wide zoom. The optics produce a highly uniform flat beam with no hot spot, achieving a perfect colour mix regardless of the colour combination selected. Fitted with a 148 mm frontal lens, this proprietary system has 13 lenses, delivering an 8:1 zoom ratio and a zoom range of 7° to 56°. Ayrton has endowed this next generation luminaire with a new minimalist design in lighter weight die-cast aluminium, incorporating full weather-proofing features that ensure easy accessibility. For greater efficiency, Perseo-S is provided with a highly effective phase-change liquid cooling system fitted with four submersible fans located outside the watertight enclosure. Perseo-S boasts feature-rich standard equipment including a subtractive CMY colour mixing system combined with a variable CTO and a wheel with six complementary colours that produces an infinite palette of vivid pastels and saturated colours. The framing section allows accurate positioning of four shutter blades on a 100% surface area in all positions, so that the user can frame any object regardless of the luminaire’s position. The image section includes 18 interchangeable HD glass gobos on two wheels: one rotating wheel with seven positions and one fixed wheel with eleven positions. The effects section includes a continuous dynamic effects wheel; a 15-blade iris diaphragm; two frost filters, one soft edge, one hard edge; and two rotating prisms, one circular with 5 facets and one linear with 4 facets. ARGO 6 WASH is equipped with 19 LEDs of 40 W with RGB+W additive colour synthesis that can obtain light output of 13,000 lumens. This luminaire presents a minimalist design incorporating features for total protection against harsh weather with easier internal access, and its front window, made of highly resistant and exceptionally transparent polycarbonate with a V-0 protection rating, is designed to ensure optimal visuals. The placement of pan & tilt motors in the base and head of the luminaire avoids the constraint of weatherproofing the yoke arms. A new submersible ventilation system in a non-waterproof compartment allows for optimal cooling.
