In 2017, Ayrton created the first digital luminaire capable of replacing those outmoded light sources. But it was in 2022, with Cobra and its immediate worldwide success, that we established this new technology for the long term, followed by the consecutive launches of Kyalami and Mamba. Today, building on those achievements and with more than 20,000 laser-source luminaires sold, we are entering a new era with this technology and the creation of Rawbeam 350: a brand-new digital luminaire with less extreme characteristics, designed for more versatile applications. Thanks to its unique design and aluminium structure, RawBeam 350 establishes itself as the lightest and best-equipped fixture in its category. Like all Ayrton luminaires since 2023, Rawbeam 350 was developed as an ultra-compact, versatile luminaire capable of operating in all outdoor and indoor conditions, including saline environments, while maintaining full accessibility and an astonishing weight of just 25.4 kg. Rawbeam 350 delivers exceptional illuminance of 1,340,000 lux at 10 metres. It is equipped with a 160 mm front lens, while the proprietary 13-lens optical system offers a 40x zoom range and an operating span from 1.1° to 45°. Built around essential functions, Rawbeam 350 offers extensive equipment and features a CMY colour-mixing system and an ultra-fast gradient CTO on discs, enabling perfect colour reproduction. A wheel of 15 complementary colours, a multi-colour RGB-CMY animation section, and a CTB correction filter complete the set of tools dedicated to colour. Rawbeam 350 is equipped with multiple graphic tools, including 10 rotating gobos and 25 fixed gobos, 4 beam reducers, and an animation wheel that allow you to sculpt the light. The gobos can be combined with two sets of three combinable rotating image-multiplying prisms, creating a multitude of complex volumetric effects for truly breathtaking looks. Two Frost filters complete the palette of graphic tools. EagleStrike was born from a bespoke request for a signature luminaire. It stands as the first LED-source followspot in Ayrton’s range, engineered for intensive outdoor use across long distances where precision is paramount. An optional camera enables EagleStrike to function as a remotely operated tracking spotlight. To create this uncompromising and unmatched extreme-luminaire, Ayrton developed an oversized 270 mm front lens weighing 7.7 kg, delivering an ultra-intense 2.9° beam. Its proprietary 13-lens optical system offers a 15:1 zoom ratio and a working range of 2.9° to 43°, with the ability to narrow the beam to 0.9° or 2.5° using dedicated gobo reducers. Equipped with a brand-new high-efficiency 1,200-watt LED module, EagleStrike outputs a luminous flux of 55,000 lm at a colour temperature of 6500 K, and achieves a record-breaking illuminance of over 100,000 lux at 10 metres. The fixture introduces an entirely new ultra-fast CMY flag-based colour mixing system, capable of matching the speed of Ayrton’s ‘ultimate’ series luminaires. A progressive CTO offers subtle tuning from 2900 K to 6500 K. The colour section includes six complementary colour filters, two CRI enhancement filters, one minus green, one gobo correction and one multi-colour filters. EagleStrike features a full-framing system with precise blade positioning across 100 % of the field, and +/- 90° rotation, allowing users to frame any object regardless of the luminaire’s orientation. After the global triumph of Cobra – sold in thousands across the world – AYRTON unveils Mamba, a groundbreaking, versatile lighting concept. Equipped with a laser source twice as powerful, Mamba delivers a multitude of breathtaking new psychedelic effects that are nothing short of spectacular. Mamba boasts unmatched graphic capabilities, featuring 18 motors dedicated solely to effect creation. It offers a vast selection of 92 fixed and rotating metal gobos across two wheels, specifically designed to sculpt light in “beam” mode. An endlessly rotating ovoid animation wheel adds to its dynamic arsenal. The gobos can be paired with an initial level of two palettes, each containing four individually rotating prisms that can be combined. COBRA is the first factory standard AYRTON phosphor laser source luminaire based on the concept of DREAMSPOT 18K, presented at Prolight+Sound 2016. Several years of development have gone into designing and finalising this exceptional luminaire, which offers a next generation speckle-free laser source, designed for rendering a D65 white point that allows perfect colour reproduction.
