The LumiNode 12 is an easy to deploy and maintain ethernet/DMX processing device for converting, routing, and merging DMX/RDM data on a network. The unit is specifically designed with an all metal, robust enclosure for rack mounting, making it an ideal solution for theatre- and studio AV installs or for use at live performances. Equipped with 2x 1Gb Ethercon ports and 12x 5-pin DMX ports LumiNode 12 offers flexibility in a rugged 19” package. Each port is fully optically and galvanically isolated and can be configured as an in- or output. All relevant industry standard protocols such as Art-Net, sACN, KiNET, RTTRpl (Blacktrax) are supported and can be processed and converted in no less than 16 onboard process engines supporting HTP, LTP, Crossfade, Backup, Switch and Custom merging modes with soft patch functionality. LumiNode 12 also supports remote device management (RDM), has automatic functional and operational redundancy and recovery to reliably cope with the most challenging lighting tasks. A show recording and play-back mode lets you conveniently store lighting scenes and play these back when triggered to do so. An external contact closure is included as standard to allow for example to playback lighting scenes in case of emergency. LumiNode 12 is efficient and has a low power consumption and can be powered via PoE or via mains with a robust Neutrik powercon connector. An additional power out connector allows for daisy chaining. LumiNode 12 is easy and intuitively to operate with a built-in color display and control jog for quick access to universe numbers for example. Configuration can also be done through a built in web-based user interface. The fully documented open API facilitates full integration with any 3rd party control or management system. LumiCore is a powerful network processing device for DMX lighting data streams, that can convert, route, and merge the most common ethernet lighting protocols. LumiCore is specifically designed for rack and truss mounting with a robust all metal housing, making it an ideal solution for touring, theatre, and studio AV installs. As technology is evolving towards full networked solutions (ArtNet or sACN directly to the fixtures), LumiCore provides all the flexibility of the LumiNode but then directly on the network, with up to 256 input universes merged and routed towards max 128 output universes. All of this with extreme low latency. In TV studio’s LumiCore will allow you to have control desks in the IT environment. LuimNode 1 is a must have tool for every lighting professional. With its unique USB to Ethernet feature, LumiNode 1 functions as an Ethernet dongle enabling you to have a fully functional ethernet port when connected to your laptop/PC. Process engines can be easily configured in a very intuitive workflow. Just decide what you like to do with your lighting data by choosing the mode of the process engine. Depending on the chosen merging/routing policy of the engine, the UI presents all possible input configurations. From here you just connect your input streams and your output connections. Everything can be easily stored and recalled into profiles for later usage. Advanced networking Use the full capacity of the Gigabit connectivity by sending different data in a different Group (VLAN). Setup a separate interface for IT monitoring without interfering with critical lighting data. The known Group (VLAN) technology from GigaCore switches is also available in the LumiNode product family. This allows you to freely assign a different Group (VLAN) to the different network connectors and to the node’s interfaces. ISL (Inter Switch Link) and custom trunks are available to transfer different VLANs on one ethernet connection. Play & contact closure Play allows you to record snapshots of all your output streams in a show as a cue list with fade times. This show can later be used as an input source of a process engine. The external contact closure can be configured as a trigger on the network and be used as any other trigger source to control the playback of the recorded queue list. Integration with web API LumiNode features a fully documented web API, making the unit ideal for integration and automation in installation projects. All configuration or manipulation (like recalling profiles, configuring engines, triggering play,…) can be done via web API (REST/JSON).
