In 2017, Ayrton created the first digital luminaire capable of replacing those outmoded light sources. But it was in 2022, with Cobra and its immediate worldwide success, that we established this new technology for the long term, followed by the consecutive launches of Kyalami and Mamba.

This optical combination that favours the use of framing shutter blades or geometric gobos significantly improves colour mix and can produce 10% more light than with a classic Fresnel lens F.O.S.™. DOMINO WASH opens up a whole new world of versatility. This luminaire is available in three versions – S, ST or TC – meant to cover all types of stage use. For shows that need cooler, metallic light, the “Stage” version provides a record luminous flux of 52,000 lumens, a colour temperature of 7000 K and a CRI of 70. The entirely new “Studio & Theatre” version is fitted with a new monochromatic LED source that delivers light output of 45,000 lumens and a D65 white point that allows perfect colour reproduction with a CRI greater than 80. For applications requiring perfect colour rendering, the “True Colour” version offers a colour rendering index greater than 95 with extremely high TM30 values and a colour temperature of 6000 Kelvin. This new luminaire adopts the complex colour mixing system of HURACÁN WASH, offering a double level of CMY saturation that can obtain 281 trillion colours and a triple corrector for variable colour temperature, allowing subtle adjustment from 2700 K to 15000 K and significant CRI improvement T.C.S.™. DOMINO WASH is factory-equipped with full features, including a framing section that allows accurate positioning of four shutter blades on a 100% surface area in all positions, so that the user can frame any object regardless of the luminaire’s position. DOMINO WASH is also equipped with a wheel of seven rotating glass gobos, a 15-blade iris diaphragm and an CMY & RGB animation wheel. DOMINO WASH has a liquid cooling system fitted with six submersible fans outside its weatherproof enclosure. ZONDA 3 is a versatile fixture with amazing effects that can switch from beam to wash with great ease. Its speed of movement and reduced dimensions increase its dynamic potential. Because of its size, it is easy to use in compositions with curtains or matrices. Fitted with seven high-performance 40-Watt LED sources with RGB+W, ZONDA 3 offers a proprietary optical system made up of a unique 170 mm mono-block cluster in PMMA, which enhances beam coherence, and seven glass light guides with an output surface that has an optical micro-structure. A 50 mm truncated transmitting lens whose optical surface is equivalent to that of a 70 mm round lens, enables ZONDA 3 to obtain a highly intensive beam with a zoom ratio of 14:1 and a wide zoom range of 4° to 56°. This LED/optical system combination is capable of producing light output of 5,200 lumens and a perfectly homogeneous mixture of pastel and saturated colours regardless of the colour combination chosen. It is provided with additive colour synthesis that can reproduce precise, intense and deep colours. The careful colour mixing of the sources allows for perfect colour reproduction. A specially used black honeycomb and perfect separation of the light sources helps to significantly boost the level of contrast. Huracán-X is a marvel of technology fitted with a next-generation oversized cooling system and a high-efficiency 1000W LED Module producing 50,0000 lumens at a colour temperature of 6500k when operating at a steady state. For this exceptional luminaire, Ayrton has developed an entirely new complex colour mixing system with a double CMY saturation level capable of generating 281 trillion colours (patent pending). A triple variable colour temperature corrector allows subtle adjustment from 2700 K to 15000 K and offers noticeable CRI improvement. Designed to project complex graphical effects, HURACÁN-X boasts specifically developed optics that deliver an extremely uniform flat beam with no hot spot and reproduce high-definition images.
