For the latest wash-type luminaire of the HURACÁN family, AYRTON has designed an entirely new Fresnel lens with an optical structure specially developed for use with framing barndoors, also favouring use with geometric gobos or ovalisation lenses, without constraints.

ZONDA 3 is a versatile fixture with amazing effects that can switch from beam to wash with great ease. Its speed of movement and reduced dimensions increase its dynamic potential. Because of its size, it is easy to use in compositions with curtains or matrices. Fitted with seven high-performance 40-Watt LED sources with RGB+W, ZONDA 3 offers a proprietary optical system made up of a unique 170 mm mono-block cluster in PMMA, which enhances beam coherence, and seven glass light guides with an output surface that has an optical micro-structure. A 50 mm truncated transmitting lens whose optical surface is equivalent to that of a 70 mm round lens, enables ZONDA 3 to obtain a highly intensive beam with a zoom ratio of 14:1 and a wide zoom range of 4° to 56°. This LED/optical system combination is capable of producing light output of 5,200 lumens and a perfectly homogeneous mixture of pastel and saturated colours regardless of the colour combination chosen. It is provided with additive colour synthesis that can reproduce precise, intense and deep colours. The careful colour mixing of the sources allows for perfect colour reproduction. A specially used black honeycomb and perfect separation of the light sources helps to significantly boost the level of contrast. This is a machine with phenomenal powers capable of delivering stunning visual effects. An ultra-compact 300 W beam-spot luminaire equipped with a 168 mm frontal lens, KARIF offers an astronomical zoom ratio of 17:1 and a zoom range of 2.8° to 47°. To achieve an ultra-intense beam with an LED source, AYRTON uses an entirely new miniaturised high-efficiency low-etendue compact LED module. Calibrated at 8000 K, it can generate powerful metallic white light and deep, vivid colours suitable for this type of application. KARIF provides overall output of 14,000 lumens at a colour temperature of 6500 K. In this first hybrid LED luminaire, AYRTON has added continuous rotation to its panoramic movement to expand the possibilities for creating complex special effects. Four colour-temperature correction filters, and nine complementary colour filters on two concentric circles (patent pending). The effect section includes one wheel with nine interchangeable rotating HD glass gobos. For KARIF-LT to reproduce multiple images, AYRTON has developed a totally new wheel of fixed multi-position gobos with instant access to 19 HD glass gobos and 20 metal gobos on three concentric circles (patent pending).
