During Gather Round at Adelaide Oval, Scene Change and Twenty3 delivered ‘The Pepsi Collective’, a premium experience in William Magarey Room. The experience offered live entertainment, DJs and bespoke food and beverage.
Scene Change viewed this prestigious event as the ideal opportunity to debut their brand-new Ayrton Stradale Profiles, which joined Martin MAC Ones, Prolights Arena Cobs and Astra Wash19Pix fixtures to deliver a spectacular event.
Reflecting on the purchase of the Ayrton Stradale fixtures, Scene Change Managing Director Nick Waterman said, “Our technicians ultimately drove this decision. I had initially considered a different fixture, but we trusted the team’s preference for the Stradale’s compact size and strong output. Its IP rating was an added advantage for outdoor events, particularly at Adelaide Oval.”
Nick said the Stradale is highly versatile, able to shift from a tight 4° beam to a wide 52° spread. Unlocking more creative possibilities, it features infinite continuous rotation on both pan and tilt axes.
“Our technicians are thrilled to have framing shutters in such a compact fixture,” Nick said. “The fast 15-blade iris, animation disks and dual rotating prisms for aerial effects will all see plenty of use.”
Scene Change: Adelaide owns 36 Martin MAC Ones, with 18 used on this show for eye candy and tight-beam effects. Additional creative effects and beams were provided by Prolights Astra Wash19Pix fixtures flown on either side of the LED screens. Nick added that they have proven to be a reliable workhorse fixture for the company.
Additional effects came from 16 Prolights Arena Cobs, which Scene Change Adelaide added to its inventory eight months ago. The company selected them over other RGBW blinders to complement its existing Prolights stock, while their interlocking design adds versatility.
Control was an MA Lighting MA3 Compact XT, along with Luminex LumiNodes.
